Van der Karsten certainly has grown up, and elevated his high level of production skills to the next phase of his career. With the different styles and genres he combines and recreates into something special, you simply cannot just call his music trance, or EDM, or House, of even Pop Music. His appeal has always been the creation of tracks he feels for – rather than technical substance. The formula hasn’t changed that much over the last couple of year, but since he joined Planet Punk Music, there certainly has been a much stronger output and exposure and obviously he is reaching a broader audience.

Unexpected, but very well perceived his new Single U GOT MY BODY is on the one hand an homage for Nora en Pure´s same named 2015 release, but even more a step up from the predictable house and EDM style you find these days. The Single Edit is a well-crafted combination of summer beach house flavor and main floor beat with even a touch of French and UK sounds, that somehow touches the early 90s house groove, yet being on the forefront of today´s radio chart appeal.

Once you´ve heard the Single Edit, move onto the Club Edit, which you will find faster, harder and straight to the point with strong melody, strong hook and even more pounding four to the floor DNA drop, setting the tone for the night and heavily features the right integrity of uncompromising beats and heart breaking melody.
