There is a new kid on the block – Heimlich. It’s the alias of Joost Eras, a 19 year-old Dutch DJ and producer who has been steadily building a name for himself with a regular string of releases worldwide.
He started his DJ career at a young age of 15, honing his skills in the local club scene and then moving into production, creating laid-back, melodic vibes that work well in clubs as well as on the airwaves.
He released his first single „Otherside“ in 2015 and then followed it with „A Song“. That track took Heimlich around the world, hitting the radios and clubs from Spain to Miami and bagging him licensing deals in 26 countries, millions of Spotify plays and becoming a Top 40 hit in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. The video received an extensive play on MTV Dance in the UK, citing him as „one to watch“.

His next single was licensed to Universal and the young DJ received a huge profile boost by performing his next single, „Chocolate“ on a prime-time RTL TV show in front of millions of viewers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
