Dreaming on the Dancefloor

Gerald G! aka Gerald Oppong, the Hamburg Native, who spends his time between New York and Germany has been creating quite a buzz on the electronic dancefloor.

Starting with his first release in 2008 with Stereo Palma, Now That Your’re Gone, followed by the Planet Punk Classic, DJ Bryce Ft. Gerald G! with the infectious DANCE, which landed in the rotation of Abercrombie Fitch stores worldwide, and Viva club rotations charts No 1 position. Chart success with Breath Again (Charley Valley) reached no. 7 on the Swedish Dance Charts in September 2012, and a strong feature with Aleksey Romeo on the Netherlands Top 100 hit, reached no. 36 this year.

We all remember Set the Night on Fire, a collaboration with the Koln based Bodybangers, which reached the Top100 this year in France, and made some billboard noise in the USA, laid the path for his current solo release, Dreaming on the Dancefloor. The song written by Award winning writer Terri B! (MEDINA,SARAH CONNOR, ROGER SANCHEZ) , Sidelmann (IDA CORR), Toddi Reed (FATMAN SCOOP), features Long Island Native Anthony „Ski“ Freeman, and mixes by Erick Decks, Sidelmann, and Addicted Craze.

Gerald sparkles as a talented newcomer with a smooth a silk vocal reminiscent of Usher and Ne-yo but a style all his own. With Hed Kandi, Kontor top fo the Clubs, and Barcardi his live show is explosive and demanding.
